What to Expect On The Day of a Brazilian Butt Lift
When you come in for your surgery, our goal is to make your BBL feel as comfortable as possible and produce the best results. Before your procedure, you will be administered general anesthesia or intravenous sedation, depending on what is discussed during your consultation. Dr. Saadat will make tiny incisions on the agreed-upon areas of your body where the liposuction will be performed, leaving these treated locations with a slimmer, more contoured, and toned appearance. Once removed, the fat is purified and readied for injection into your buttocks. Dr. Saadat finishes by injecting the processed fat into specific areas to create a more spherical, full look. Once the desired shape and lift are achieved, incisions are closed up with stitches, and the treated areas are wrapped with a dressing, followed by a compression garment.

Aftermath
After your treatment, you will be moved to the post-op room to wake up peacefully from your surgery. Once discharged (typically the same day), you will be able to go home and recover more comfortably. You should have a friend or family member available to provide you with a ride home as you will still be under the effects of the anesthesia. Patients can expect to feel tender and slightly swollen after the procedure and you may be required to wear a presume garment on the donor area. You are encouraged to mobilize immediately after surgery to promote healthy circulation.
One of the more “irritating” aspects of recovering from a BBL is that you should not sit or apply too much pressure to your butt for the first few weeks of recovery. This is important because until the injectable has a chance to graft itself to your pre-existing frame, any strain may cause it either move into an unfavorable position or be reabsorbed by your body.
